Once upon a time ...
There was a rich King who had 4 wives.
He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to the finest of delicacies. He gave her nothing but the best.
He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. However, he feared that one day she would leave him for another.
He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidante and was always kind, considerate and patient with him. Whenever the King faced a problem, he could confide in her to help him get through the difficult times.
The King's 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom. However, he did not love the first wife and although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her.
One day, the King fell ill and he knew his time was short.
He thought of his luxurious life and pondered, "I now have 4 wives with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone.
Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I have loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?"
"No way!" replied the 4th wife and she walked away without another word.
Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart.
The sad King then asked the 3rd wife, "I have loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?"
No!" replied the 3rd wife. "Life is too good!
When you die, I'm going to remarry!"
His heart sank and turned cold.
He then asked the 2nd wife, "I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?"
"I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!" replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only send you to your grave."
Her answer came like a bolt of thunder and the King was devastated.
Then a voice called out:
"I'll leave with you and follow you no matter where you go." The King looked up and there was his first wife. She was so skinny, she suffered from malnutrition.
Greatly grieved, the King said, "I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!"
In Truth, we all have 4 wives in our lives ...
Our 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it'll leave us when we die.
Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth.
When we die, it will all go to others.
Our 2nd wife is our friends. No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.
AND
And our 1st wife is our Parents ,
often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the ego.
However, our Parents are the only thing that will follow us and guide wherever we go.
So Love them at ur best ..... They need and Love you most !!!
You are their greatest gift
Let them Smile and Cherish..

Lessons on Life
There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away. The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall. When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen.
The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.
The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise
The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen
The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment
The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life. He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, th! e beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.Moral lessons:Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Don't judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time or later

Put The Glass Down
Once A professor began his class by holding up a glass with some waterin it. He held it up for all to see; asked the students, "How much do you think this glass weighs?'50gms! ' ?....'100gms! '......'125gms'.......the students answered. 'I really don't know unless I weigh it,'said the professor, 'But, my question is: What would happen if I held itup like this for a few minutes?'. 'Nothing' the students said. 'OK what would happen if I held it up like this for an hour?' theprofessor asked.'Your arm would begin to ache' said one of the students. 'You're right, now what would happen if I held it for a day?', asked theprofessor. 'Your arm could go numb, you might have severe muscle stress& paralysis; have to go to hospital for sure!' ventured another student. All the students laughed. 'Very good' said the professor. 'But duringall this, did the weight of the glass change?' the professor said withan element of concern'. 'No' replied the students. 'Then what caused the arm ache; the musclestress?Instead What should I do?', the professor questioned them with a tingeof introspection. The students were puzzled. 'Put the glass down!' saidone of the students. 'Exactly!' said the professor. 'Life's problems are something like this.Hold it for a few minutes in your head; they seem OK.Think of them for a long time; they begin to ache. Hold it even longer;they begin to paralyze you. You will not be able to do anything'. It's important to think of the challenges (problems) in your life, butEVEN MORE IMPORTANT to 'put them down' at the end of every day beforeyou go to sleep. That way, you are not stressed, you wake up every dayfresh; strong ; can handle any issue, any challenge that comes your way!Remember to PUT THE GLASS DOWN TODAY! That's life!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

At training program for top management
A well-known motivational speaker gathering the entire crowd'sattention, said, "The best years of my life were spent in the arms of awoman who wasn't my wife !"The crowd was shocked! He followed up by saying, "That woman was my mother!"The crowd burst into laughter and he gave his speech, which was wellreceived.About a week later, one of the top managers who had the training decidedto use that joke at his house. He tried to rehearse the joke in his head. It was a bit foggy to him.He said loudly, "The greatest years of my life were spent in the arms ofa woman who was not my wife!"Naturally, his wife was shell shocked, murmuring. After standing there for almost 10 seconds trying to recall the secondhalf of the joke, the manager finally blurted out "... and I can'tremember who she was !"As expected, he got thrashing of his life time....Moral of the story: Don't copy if you can't paste

Life Is a Short To Waste Time Hating Anyone
A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert During some point of the Journey they had an Argument, and one friend Slapped the other one In the face। The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE ।
They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath। The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE.
The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?" The other friend replied "When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away। But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."
LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE!!! They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them।
Do not value the THINGS you have in your life. But value WHO you have in your life

Management Lesson
One fine day, a bus driver went to the bus garage, started his bus, and drove off along the route. No problems for the first few stops - a few people got on, a few got off, and things went generally well. At the next stop, however, a big hulk of a guy got on. Six feet eight, built like a wrestler, arms hanging down to the ground. He glared at the driver and said, "Big John doesn't pay!" and sat down at the back. Did I mention that the driver was five feet three, thin, and basically week? Well, he was. Naturally, he didn't argue with Big John, but he wasn't happy about it. The next day the same thing happened - Big John got on again, made a show of refusing to pay, and sat down. And the next day, and the next. This grated on the bus driver, who started losing sleep over the way Big John was taking advantage of him. Finally he could stand it no longer. He signed up for body building courses, karate, judo, and all that good stuff. By the end of the summer, he had become quite strong; what's more, he felt really good about himself. So on the next Monday, when Big John once again got on the bus and said, "Big John doesn't pay!" The driver stood up, glared back at the passenger, and screamed, "And why not?" With a surprised look on his face, Big John replied, "Big John has a bus pass." Management Lesson: "Be sure there is a problem in the first place before working hard to solve one
Resource Utilization
Buddha, one day, was in deep thought about the worldly activities and the ways of instilling goodness in human beings. One of his disciples approached him and said humbly " Oh my teacher ! While you are so much concerned about the world and others, why don't you look in to the welfare and needs of your own disciples also." Buddha : "OK.. Tell me how I can help you" Disciple : "Master! My attire is worn out and is beyond the decency to wear the same. Can I get a new one, please?" Buddha found the robe indeed was in a bad condition and needed replacement. He asked the store keeper to give the disciple a new robe to wear on. The disciple thanked Buddha and retired to his room. A while later, he went to his disciple's place and asked him "Is your new attire comfortable? Do you need anything more ?" Disciple : "Thank you my Master. The attire is indeed very comfortable. I need nothing more" Buddha : "Having got the new one, what did you do with your old attire?" Disciple : "I am using it as my bed spread" Buddha : "Then.. hope you have disposed off your old bed spread" Disciple : " No.. no.. master. I am using my old bedspread as my window curtain" Buddha : " What about your old Curtain?" Disciple : "Being used to handle hot utensils in the kitchen" Buddha : "Oh.. I see.. Can you tell me what did they do with the old cloth they used in Kitchen" Disciple : "They are being used to wash the floor." Buddha : " Then, the old rug being used to wash the floor...?" Disciple: " Master, since they were torn off so much, we could not find any better use, but to use as atwig in the oil lamp, which is right now lit in your study room...." Buddha smiled in contentment and left for his room. If not to this degree of utilization, can we at least attempt to find the best use of all our resources at home and in office? We need to handle wisely, all the resources earth has bestowed us with ….both natural and material so that they can be saved for the generations to come.
